The Peacock should be considered the most beautiful bird on the planet if not the most spectacular. Here is my new friend
"Cocky the Peacock".
He is magnificent. The challenge is to capture that awesomeness. He possesses some of my favorite colors. He glimmers and sparkles. I can not even come close!

Thank you, Marie. I love your blog. Thank you for visiting my blog. I paint birds a lot and these peacock characters roam the Denver Zoo. My middle name is Antionette and I lived in New Orleans when I was ages 2 to 4. I am 56. I remember so vividly Mardi Gras from the fifties. I clung to my dad's leg as people dressed as primitives with scary make up would jump over the little kids. I remember people throwing beaded neckless off floats just like that video.
Hi again Joan,we sure have alot in common.I'm 57, and we have the same middle name,...LOL... and New Orleans was wonderful in the fifties, but your right ,it was scary too. Hugs Marie Antionette
They are incredibly gorgeous. I have several feathers and would love to display them, but my cats would ruin them :(
